The new Cela Spyder DT25

The Spyder DT25 features a four section lower telescopic boom and a three section upper boom with a maximum outreach of 12 metres at an up and over height of 14 metres. It also offers five metres of reach below ground level and a maximum platform capacity of 230kg - available at an outreach of around nine metres. Standard features include radio remote controls, one finger operated drive - ideal for travelling the machine over longer distances - remote access diagnostics and real time software with GPS.

The machine also has dual position platform/basket mounting points, allowing the boom to connect with the bottom or the top of the basket. When installed as a top/pedestal platform the company says there is less chance for the boom to foul in the tree canopy while the additional ‘negative reach’ it provides helps reach challenging areas.
