Collé to expand
Netherlands based crane, telehandler and access rental company Collé has announced ambitious expansion plans for the post-Covid market.
The company, based in Sittard with outlets in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg, says that rather than cutting back on the 600 staff it employs, it is actively recruiting additional technical and transport people.
It will also launch a major update to its fleet, which is mostly made up of aerial work platforms, telehandlers and cranes, with the aim to convert at least 50 percent of its 15,000 units to all electric power by 2023.
It currently operates from seven branches in Germany, six in the Netherlands and one each in Belgium and Luxembourg. In Germany, Collé is primarily active in the north and northwest with branches in Bremen, Hamburg, Berlin, Osnabrück, East Frisia (Leer), East Westphalia (Bad Salzuflen) and Philippsburg in the south. It will shortly announce the opening of an eight location, and is actively eyeing up potential acquisitions.
