Green Dinglis for Advanced

UK based Advanced Access Platforms has ordered a dozen large electric Rough Terrain scissor lifts from Chinese manufacturer Dingli.

The order includes a number of 40ft JCPT 1218DCs, 46ft JCPT 1418DCs and 66ft JCPT 2223DCs, all of which incorporate AC direct electric drive wheel motors, for maximum torque and energy efficiency. The new models are part of Dingli’s Plan G move towards environmentally friendly machines, including its largest Rough Terrain boom lifts.

Two 66ft Dingli JCPT 2223DC’s for Advanced


The first two units in the new order - JCPT 2223s - were collected from Dingli UK’s new premises late last week. The Rough Terrain scissors boast a maximum platform capacity of 750kg, four wheel electric drive and steer, automatic levelling jacks, a 2.7 metre platform extension which takes the platform length to 7.3 metres.

We also now have 21 spider lifts and the first two Hinowa 26 bi-fuels. The policy is really starting to prove worthwhile for our major clients.”

The new machines will be based at Advanced’s central London depot, located within the ultra low emission zone. The company recently took delivery of 40 new Niftylift booms and has also placed an order for 70 Skyjack platforms, having taken delivery of six new 53ft Skyjack SJ9253 yesterday.
