Custom Comet for Italy

Italian health and fitness equipment manufacturer Technogym has taken delivery of two custom-built rail mounted Comet platforms to carry out maintenance of its headquarters in Cesena.

Built in partnership with the company’s specialist X Trux division, Comet has mounted an adapted Eurosky 28.2.14 HQ truck mounted boom onto two self-propelled trolleys which run either side of the building’s 200 metre long glass façade. The platforms offer a working height of 25.2 metres, an outreach of more than 16.5 metres and a platform capacity 200kg, while the trolleys can also be controlled from the platform.

Technogym has taken delivery of two custom platforms for its headquarters

Gabriele Valli, Comet sales director, said: “The philosophy of Comet remains to propose special equipment. If possible different from the standard and able to satisfy the requests of our customers. In a highly competitive and busy market, we decided to combine the normal production of our platforms with special equipment to obtain a market niche.”
