New sales director for GGR

UK based spider crane, vacuum lifting and telehandler sales and rental group GGR has appointed Steven King as sales & commercial director. He will be responsible for helping accelerate the company’s growth and development plans over the coming years.

King joins the company after a two and a half year spell with Elliot, the modular building and cabin rental company, where he was sales director and more recently business development director. Most of his career has been with Ashtead owned A-Plant – now Sunbelt Rentals – having joined as a branch manager in 1997, before moving up through various sales and operations roles, including six and half years as a senior manager in the powered access division. He left to join Elliot in 2018 when he was strategic sales director.
