Danish manufacturer Ommelift has launched a new 15 metre compact articulated trailer lift, the 1500 EX.
The new machine features dual short risers in a sigma configuration, topped by a three section telescopic boom, providing a 15 metre working height and up to 8.5 metres of outreach. It has an unrestricted maximum platform capacity of 230kg and offers an up and over height of almost five metres. The unit has 400 degrees of slew, while platform rotation is 100 degrees. Overall operating width with the outriggers set is 4.12 metres.
On the road, it has an overall width of 1.66 metres, a length just over six metres, and a stowed height 1.99 metres. The AC mains or lithium-ion battery powered models have an overall weight of 2.000kg, including hydraulic outriggers and hydraulic drive assist for manoeuvring on site. The standard lead acid battery pack adds 50kg. Options include radio remote controls, diesel or petrol power.
The first units of the 1500EX have already shipped, while the company will also continue to offer its single riser Mini 15 EXJ telescopic model.
