UK rental company Mainline Access has taken delivery of two new 66ft Dingli BA22ERT electric articulated boom lifts and placed an order for four of its latest 86ft and 99ft narrow aisle electric powered scissor lifts.
The BA22ERT offers a working height of 22.21 metres and an outreach of 12.72 metres at an up & over height of eight metres with a 230kg platform capacity. Features include four wheel drive and steer, 30 percent gradeability, 360 continuous slew, foam filled non-marking tyres, 130 degrees of jib articulation and drive speeds of up to 6.1kph. Power comes from a 48 volt system made up of two 24 volt, 375Ah batteries.
The company has also ordered two units of Dingli’s 86ft JCPT2814DCs and 99ft JCPT3214DCs, which were launched last month - see: Bigger Dingli electric scissors.
The JCPT2814DC and JCPT3214DC offer working heights of 28 and 32 metres respectively with a maximum unrestricted platform capacity of 600kg, rated for two people. They offer an overall width of 1.39 metres and a stowed height of 3.17 metres with the guardrails folded down. The JCPT2814 is 5.69 metres long, while the JCPT3214 is slightly longer at 6.41 metres, due to its longer scissor stack arms.
Features include four wheel electric wheel motor drive, four wheel steer, levelling jacks and the ability to drive at full height. The 80 volt/520Ah lithium-ion battery pack is said to be good for a full shift and provides 25 percent gradeability.
Managing director Keith Williams, said: “Dingli are a great company to work with. They understand the need for electric machines to have a longer duty cycle and their diesel machines are fitted with Stage V engines. Most arrive with non-marking, rough terrain tyres making them ideal for inside and outside jobs. Our technical team love the quality and backup. The service we receive from all departments is second to none, efficient and thorough, which enables us to make decisions fast which differentiates us from our competitors. Our customers have been blown away by their build quality and versatility on site.”
