LGMG adds to N. American team

LGMG North America has hired Eric Liner as senior vice president of national accounts.

Liner has worked in the aerial lift industry since 1999, when he joined Genie as a marketing account manager, leaving for Stone Construction Equipment in 2001 to become a district manager. Just over a year later he re-joined the access industry with a move to Skyjack as territory manager for the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Over the next 18 years he held a number of increasingly senior roles with the Canadian manufacturer, becoming a regional vice president for Western Canada in 2007 and vice president of sales for North America in 2014. In late 2016 he became executive vice president of the Americas with responsibility for sales, financial services, product support and replacement parts but left the business late last year.

LGMG opened in the USA in 2019 with the help and support of ex-JLG president Craig Paylor - see: LGMG N. America opens.

Liner said: “Anyone who knows me or who has worked with me would suggest I’m an extremely competitive person, which I characterise as being a work hard, play hard kind of guy. I love golfing, sadly most days it doesn’t love me back… I’m an avid saltwater and river fisherman and on the days I’m not ‘catching’ I just enjoy being on the water. I am excited to start at a company that is at a very early stage of development or growth and, am looking forward to recreating the same success I’ve had in previous positions.”
