Polish crane rental company Robert Baran Crane group has ordered seven 220 tonne Tadano AC 5.220L-1 All Terrain cranes plus three crawler cranes.
The five axle Tadano AC 5.220L-1 - formerly the Demag AC 220-5 - features an eight section 78 metre main boom plus an 11.4 to 21 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of 102 metres.
The company has also ordered two 650 tonne Tadano CC 38.650-1/Demag CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler cranes with its boom booster kits, plus a 156 tonne Tadano GTC-1800EX telescopic crawler crane. The first units are scheduled for delivery later this year.
Company owner Robert Baran, said: “The cranes from Zweibrücken have an extraordinary reputation with us. To date, we’ve bought around 30 All Terrain cranes in the 200 and 220-tonne classes, as well seven AC 500-8, an AC 1000-9, 13 CC 2800-1 and 16 CC 3800 1 lattice boom crawler cranes. We can’t help but be impressed with their performance and quality every time we use one of them.”
The Baran Crane group is one of the largest crane rental companies in Poland. It specialises in lifting projects ranging from industrial assembly projects, through wind turbine erection and infrastructure projects.
