19m van mount from Klubb

Klubb has announced the launch of its highest reaching van mount to date - the 19 metre KT18PZ - which it will unveil at this week’s Matexpo, which opens tomorrow in Belgium.

The KT18PZ is mounted on a five tonne Mercedes Sprinter van, with a maximum outreach of 9.4 metres and a maximum working height of 19 metres. It has been designed specifically for utility companies, with the aim to provide a high reach platform on a compact van with a good payload for storage. The new machine has a four section telescopic boom, topped by a cranked articulating jib. We will cover the new model in more detail once the full production specifications are released.

The first unit has been taken by Klubb’s Belgian dealer Maes. Its managing director, Jan Maes, said: "We are really proud to be the first Klubb dealer to provide the KT18PZ. We are convinced this machine will be very popular with our customers and we will actively promote it."

Julien Bourrellis of Klubb added: "It's a great pleasure to launch this innovative platform on the market, we have designed it in order to fit closely with the utilities companies requests and to combine safety, technical performance and ease of use."
