Fall on exiting the basket

A man was seriously injured Eelderwolde near Groningen, the Netherlands yesterday after falling from an aerial platform.

The man was using the trailer mounted work platform from the Collé rental fleet, to work on a private home when it appears the riser knuckle caught up in the building. Although it is possible that it was caused by someone below trying to use the emergency descent?

Whatever happed it seems the man tried to climb out of the platform and fell around 1o metres to the ground below. He was airlifted to hospital where his condition was reported to be stable.
