55 Haulottes for AVI

Israeli rental company Avi Cranes has taken delivery of 55 Haulotte aerial work platforms for its rental fleet.

The units include 12ft Star 6 mast type vertical lifts, 19ft Optimum 8 slab electric scissor lifts, a 60ft HA20 LE PRO all-electric articulated boom lift and a 135ft HT43 RTJ PRO telescopic boom lift.

The deal included a dedicated three day training session - both theory and practical - for sales and technical staff at Avi Cranes’ premises provided by the Haulotte Africa subsidiary.

Haulotte Africa’s service manager Ahmed Errouissi said: “Training is a major issue in our sector. AVI Cranes’ technical teams now have the knowledge to maintain and diagnose Haulotte scissor lifts and vertical masts. I will come back in February to provide further training on the Pulseo generation of electric Rough Terrain electric boom lifts the big telescopics.
