Haulotte and Jungheinrich form partnership

Haulotte Scandinavia and Jungheinrich have formed a new sales and service partnership in Norway.

The partnership is intended as a route that will enable Haulotte to reach smaller occasional buyers and markets such as logistics companies looking to have powered access equipment on hand in their warehouses. It will also provide a more efficient local service in a country that is the longest in Europe, at almost 1,100 miles/1,800km with a small population and challenging terrain. A number of Jungheinrich technicians have already been trained on Haulotte’s aerial work platforms.

Robert Magnusson, general manager Haulotte Scandinavia said: “Jungheinrich has a very dense network in the Norwegian market, which is also why it is the ideal partner for us. The most popular Haulotte aerial platforms are already available from Jungheinrich in Oslo and the feedback has been very positive. Everything we’ve received so far has gone quickly.”

Jungheinrich Norway’s sales manager Fredrik Høyer-Dahl added: “This partnership allows Jungheinrich Norway to enter the lifting equipment market. We saw a demand among our existing customers for aerial work platforms, yet this type of equipment was missing from our offering. The similarity between Haulotte and Jungheinrich’s colours is a definite advantage. And the fact that they are a serious player, the third largest people lifting equipment manufacturer in the world, is also very important. Haulotte is a perfect fit for us.”
