Discover adds to European team

Canadian battery company Discover Battery has added two new members to its team in Europe.

Lucjan Bogdan has been employed to handle sales in Poland and Eastern Europe, for the past year or so he has been running his own business Multi AWP, following 14 years with Polish rental company Gizo where he was sales and purchasing director. He was involved with setting up Sinoboom’s European business in 2018 and last year took on the Almac/AlmaCrawler distribution in Poland. He has also been a prominent advocate of the benefits of maintenance free battery solutions for aerial work platforms.

The company has also appointed Stefan Mitrea to focus on sales in South West and South East Europe and Turkey. Based in Spain, he joins Discover while developing aftermarket support for Sinoboom Iberica and brings with him more than 20 years access experience from working with Genie and Sinoboom in the Southern and Eastern regions of Europe.
