A dozen Z-45 FE for Metaloc

French rental company Metaloc has taken delivery of 12 Genie 45ft Z-45 FE hybrid 4x4 articulated boom lifts.

The Z-45 FE hybrid has a 15.9 metre working height and almost seven metres of outreach at an up & over height of 7.5 metres with a 300kg maximum platform capacity. Its 4x4 electric wheel motor drive system provides more off road ‘grunt’ than the standard Rough Terrain diesel without the noise and emissions. The on-board diesel can be used to top up the battery pack, although the unit will run for a full day on a single battery charge.

The new lifts have been supplied though Genie dealer SNM Lift. This latest delivery takes Metaloc’s Genie electric or hybrid machine fleet to 111 units.
The hybrid lifts have been purchased in response to increasing demand from customers for environmentally friendly platforms, especially in the company’s locations alongside major cities such as Paris, with its Greater Paris Project and the 2024 Olympic Games.

Metaloc is based in St-Ouen-l'Aumône on the north west edge of Paris, with seven other locations strategically located to provide a national coverage. Its fleet includes aerial lifts, telehandlers, mini crawler cranes and spider cranes. It is also a dealer for ELS booms and scissor lifts
