Hyva acquires Truck Cranes Australia

Hyva Pacific has acquired its distributor in Queensland Truck Cranes Australia in an all asset purchase deal from owner Don Peden.

Established in 1991, Truck Cranes Australia is located to the south west of Brisbane and offers loader cranes from Hyva and its wholly owned sister company Ferrari. The deal gives Hyva a direct presence in the Queensland market. It has been a F.lli Ferrari Cranes dealer since 2008 and added Hyva Container Handling equipment and products in 2012. The company is also the Queensland regional dealer for Tadano telescopic loader cranes and Loadmac truck mounted forklifts. It has fully equipped workshops and a solid reputation mounting, servicing and repairing all brands of loader crane as well as conducting 10 year major crane inspections.

Hyva Pacific managing director Andre Bremmer said: “This is a great deal for Hyva Pacific. TCA is a well established and successful business which gives us access to the third largest and fastest growing regional market in Australia. The fully equipped workshop and customer base provide an excellent platform for the continued growth of Hyva Pacific by building on existing lines and adding new Hyva product lines such as tipping solutions, waste handling, skiploaders and truck and trailer accessories.”

“We thank Don Peden for his trust in us, in taking charge of a successful business which he nurtured over many years and his continued support in the transition and further development of the business.”

Hyva Pacific is based in Thornton, New South Wales on the west side of Newcastle. For more information on the Hyva group see the interview on page 38 of Cranes & access June 2020.
