New mini crane rental company

A new crane rental company Nxgen Lifting has been opened in the UK by Kelly McPhilbin, she joins the new venture after a short spell with MGA Crane Hire, having left AMC Hire originally A Mini Crane Hire in late 2021. She began her career in a sales role with the RAC in 2007, moving into Healthcare as a customer service and logistics manager in 2014. Three years later she entered the access market as an area sales manager with Nationwide Platforms moving to APL in 2019 and then A Mini Crane Hire the following year.
The new company has an all Hoeflon fleet so far

The new company - Nxgen - is based in Warrington, North West England, and is jointly owned by McPhilbin and Andrew Foster of Foster Cranes, although he is a silent partner, with McPhilbin managing the business. The new company has already taken delivery of several Hoeflon cranes both diesel and electric powered, including the 600kg capacity C1 tracked pick & carry crane, along with the two tonne C4 and four tonne C10 spider cranes. The company has also purchased Hoeflon S600 and S800 trolley mounted vacuum lifters and also plans to add JMG pick & carry cranes to the fleet.
The company will initially cover the Northwest and Midlands regions, with cranes available to rent on Contract Lift or CPA Hire Only terms.

McPhilbin said: “Nxgen hopes to be ‘The Future of Lifting’, offering the most innovative and advanced lifting equipment within the UK hire market. To achieve this, we have chosen to deal specifically in Hoeflon mini cranes with variable outriggers and below the hook accessories, aiming to be a one-stop shop for a wide variety of trades and industries. We believe they were the right fit for our company as we strive to offer ‘Next Generation’ Lifting equipment to our customers nationwide."

Nxgen has also appointed Chris McArdle as head of operations and Appointed Person. He also joins the company from AMC Hire where he has worked for more than 10 years, as an Appointed Person.
