Liftek has been working with Manitou since 2003 and was appointed as the official dealer in 2012. The three owners - managing director Mika Nakhi, after sales manager Oskari Kaivunurmi and commercial director Seppo Turunen - will remain on board in theior current roles, in order to ensure continuity and protect their minority stake in the company. The same applies to the management and operational teams. The company will continue to offer the existing product range which includes Geda hoists, Teupen spider lifts and Instant Upright alloy scaffold towers.

Manging director Mika Närhi said: "We are proud to join Manitou group. This transaction strengthens the synergies with our main supplier by bringing them the expertise and commitment of our teams and by building on their strength and stability. This opportunity will allow us to continue to grow and develop our service."

This acquisition of a majority stake is a long term strategy that strengthens our foothold in the region and brings us closer to our clients."
