Niftylift will launch two new ‘low weight’ all electric booms at Vertikal Days this week, the 45ft HR 15E and 50ft HR17E, both of which weigh in at less than five tonnes.
The new HR15E and HR17E
Both units have the classic configuration of dual sigma type risers, topped by a two section telescopic boom and jib with 150 degrees of articulation. The difference in height comes from the length of the riser arms- each being slightly longer on the 17.

The HR 15E has a working height of 15.7 metres, while the HR17E offers 17.2 metres, both have a working outreach of 9.4 metres at an up & over height of 5.8 metres on the HR15E and seven metres on the HR17E with 225kg platform capacity in the Niftylift ToughCage with a full 180 degrees of rotation and built in SiOPS anti entrapment protection.

The two boom lifts have an overall width of two metres, and an overall height of 2.1 metres and an overall stowed length of 6.35 metres. With the jib tucked under the transport length is reduced to 4.8 metres. The HR15E weighs 4,680kg and the HR17E 4,970kg. Drive comes from electric wheel mounted drive motors, supplied by AGM maintenance free batteries, with a full monitoring and protection system. The company claims that a new highly efficient electrical power system allows these units to complete a typical four day shift, before needing a recharge.

Both booms offer up to 9.4m outreach
The new machines include Niftylift’s latest on board diagnostic screens coupled with the Niftylink telematics system.
To see these new machines in the iron, Vertikal Days opens on Wednesday the 11th at 10:00 and again on Thursday 12th May.
