The new arrival takes the Huixiang Crane rental fleet to six units, its first job involved a construction project at a local science park. Features include the MAXbase variable outrigger option, and VIAB clutch for wear free starting and braking. The crane also features the manufacturer’s new carrier cab.

The crane was purchased thought Grove dealer Champion Auto, sales manager Leon Huang said: “Working in a country like Taiwan requires a very versatile crane. Customers need power and reach to help with a large number of high rise projects in the country, but also a crane that is easy and economical to move because of the busy urban centres spread across a large country. At the same time, it’s also good to have a crane capable of carrying a large amount of counterweight on the road. The Grove GMK5250XL-1 ticks all those boxes.”
