New Ruthmann for Radom

The Department of Municipal Services (Zaklad Uslug Komunalnych) in Radom, central Poland has taken delivery of a new 23 metre Ruthmann Ecoline 230 truck mounted lift on a 3.5 tonne truck.

The unit was sold and delivered by sales company Nifty4sale, which submitted the winning bid for the tender raised by the city of Radom which is due south of Warsaw.

The new Ruthmann Econoline 230 for Radom

The tender specified of a brand new, specialist platform, mounted on a vehicle of up to 3.5 tonnes. A number of other criteria was also listed. Nifty4sale proposed the telescopic boomed Ruthmann mounted on a Mercedes Sprinter 314 CDI, Euro 6 chassis.

The Ecoline 230 offers up to 16.9 metres of outreach with 100kg, 13.7 metres with 200kg and 12.7 metres with the maximum 250kg platform capacity. The overall length is 7.77 metres with an overall height of less than three metres.

On its first job at the local park

The lift will be used by the department for maintenance work around the city, including street furniture and parks. Nifty4sale said: “We are deeply convinced that this machine will prove to be invaluable, for a wide range of work at height, given its performance characteristics.”
