Vertikal Comment
It is interesting to see what appears to be a steady shift, particularly in Europe, of some highly experienced, long serving and knowledgeable individuals from the major western manufacturers to the top three Chinese manufacturers.
In some earlier cases the transfers followed headcount reductions at major manufacturers that occurred during the early days of the pandemic, while others are less obvious. What it does appear to be doing is providing the new market entrants with a solid talent pool from which to build on. At the other end of the equation some manufacturers have clearly lost a significant slice of their knowledge and experience base.
