Croatian rental company Visina DIR has taken delivery of 41 Genie booms and scissor lifts from Genie's regional distributor Statech.
The delivery includes 20 slab electric scissor lifts - comprising eight 19ft GS-1932 E-Drives, five 20ft GS-2032 E-Drives, five 32ft GS 3246 E-Drives and two GS-4069DC - plus seven Rough Terrain diesel scissor lifts including four 33ft GS-3369RT compact models, and three 53ft GS-5390RT full size units.
The rest of the units in the delivery were diesel boom lifts, including 12 articulated models -11 of the 51ft Z-51/30J RT and one 80ft Z-80/60RT. Tthe final two units were 80ft S-80J telescopics.
Visina DIR was established in 1991 as a sister company of Jungheinrich forklift distributor Mlakar viličari to sell, rent and service other types of equipment including skid steer and wheeled loaders, but has increasingly focused on powered access and telehandlers. It now offers Magni telehandlers, CMC and Hinowa spider lifts, CTE truck mounts and Faraone low level lifts. It has been working with Statech since 2014 and is based in Bestovje on the west side of Zagreb, with branches in Rijeka, Pazin, Osijek and Zadar. Most of the company’s revenues come from sales and service but Its aerial work platform rental fleet now includes 180 units.
Statech is the Genie distributor for the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Croatia, but Visina DiIRcovers the Croatian market on a partnership basis.
