UK based rental company Star Platforms has added a new 'North West' depot in Warrington, between Liverpool and Manchester. The new facility is set on a one acre site with 775 square metres of workshop and office space.
Star Platforms managing director Richard Miller said: “The demand from our customer base for powered access in the North West has continued to grow over the last 12 months. It was therefore important to have a local depot in the region to be able to meet the demand. Opening the depot in Warrington, our second this year, has allowed us to share space again with our sister company Powertek, which has been a great success at our recently opened Kent depot. The location in Warrington has fantastic transport links and will provide additional training space, meaning we can better fulfil customers’ needs.”
Established in 2014, Star Platforms runs a fleet of more than 3,000 aerial work platforms from its seven locations in Luton, Coalville, Reading, Thetford, Bridgwater, Tonbridge and now Warrington. Last year the company featured eighth in the C&A Top 30 UK and Ireland rental Guide.
