Manitowoc confirms general counsel
Manitowoc has confirmed Jennifer Peterson, as executive vice president, general counsel and company secretary. She has been interim general counsel and assistant secretary since May.

Jennifer Peterson
She joined the company in 2018 from automotive seating manufacturer Adient, where she was director of litigation for the Americas. She began her career in 2001 as a law clerk for Wisconsin Supreme Court justice N. Patrick Crooks, joining law firm Godfrey & Kahn as an attorney the following year. Six and a half years later she made the move to Journal Communications as media counsel and deputy general counsel. In 2014 she left for Johnson Controls where she was appointed senior group counsel of Litigation for the Americas, making the move to Adient at the end of 2016.
Chief executive Aaron Ravenscroft said: “I am excited to have Jennifer take this key role for Manitowoc. I’ve worked closely with her for over four years, and her leadership and experience in leading the increasing demands from stakeholders on global legal, risk, and compliance programmes makes her the ideal person to ensure our company is positioned for long term success in these areas.”
