Easy Lifts for China

Italian spider lift manufacturer Easy Lift has delivered two 16 metre R160BA tracked lifts to Yangtze River Three Gorges Equipment & Materials, a subsidiary of the China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG).

The units were sold and delivered through sales company Yacontee Aerial Work Platform, having won the public tender in partnership with the manufacturer.

Pre delivery training underway


The two units, which feature a single riser, three section boom and jib, are Lithium battery electric powered with a working height of 15.6 metres and a maximum outreach of 8.5 metres with 80kg in the platform and 7.5 metres with 120kg, while the maximum capacity is 200kg at 6.5 metres. Standard specification includes 320 degrees slew and 180 degrees of platform rotation. The overall width is 890mm, the overall length 4.2 metres with basket removed, while the overall weight is 2,100kg.

State owned CTG was established in 1993, to focus on large scale hydroelectric power development and operation and has become the largest clean energy group in China and the largest hydroelectric development enterprise in the world. Its main activities include construction and international investment in development of renewable in wind and solar energy, along with the development and use of water resources and provision of professional technical services to the sector.

Its most famous project from which it takes its name was the Three Gorges Dam built to exploit the potential of the Yangtze River water basin. Today it operates in 47 countries.

Shanghai based Yakontee was set up in 2005, and offers a wide range of lifts from Haulotte, Holland Lift, ATN, a range of Italian-built truck mounts, Dino trailer and boom lifts as well as Easy Lift spider lifts.

I agree, only type of model Easy Lift or anybody should sell to the Chinese, are some 20 years old legacy models which are about be phased out.
