German rental company Gerken has moved into new, larger purpose-built premises in Bremen, northern Germany.
Construction on the new branch, which offers 5,000 square metres/1.25 acres of space - more than triple the size of the current premises - began in November last year and was completed last week.
The facility has a 'home fleet' of more than 120 aerial work platforms, along with spider cranes, telehandlers and other equipment.
Managing director Markus Liffers said: "This expansion follows the solid investment approach of the Gerken group, which continues to develop its expansion course in a sustainable and growth oriented manner."
Established in 1989, Gerken runs a fleet of around 9,000 aerial work platforms which includes almost 400 different models. It launched a major expansion programme last year which has also included new depot openings and a number of acquisitions including: Another acquisition for Gerken and Gerken acquires Allgaier Access
