Edwards Lifting Services closes

UK crane rental Company Edwards Lifting Services of Ormskirk in Lancashire has appointed a liquidator.

The company failed to file its 2021 accounts and entered a voluntary winding up process, in late July, with the appointment of a liquidator confirmed at the start of August.

Edwards Lifting Services was originally registered in August 2012 and was owned and managed by Robert and Gemma Edwards. In it accounts for the year to August 2020, it had total total assets of £437,000 as of August 2021 substantially higher liabilities, with a negative net worth and negative working capital.
