Big Faresin electrics

Italian telehandler manufacturer Faresin has now confirmed that the larger Full Electric telehandlers it will launch at Bauma next week will comprise a three model line up, the 14 metre/4,200kg 14.42, the 17 metre/4,000kg 17.40 and the 17 metre/4,500kg 17.45.

The all new 17m Full Electric Faresin 17.45

At the heart of the new telehandlers is a 45.36 kWh 435 volt high-voltage lithium-ion battery pack powering two electric motors: a 51 kW, for the drive transmission and a 23 kW, dedicated to the hydraulics. The new models can travel at speeds of 25kph during which the batteries are topped up by the regenerative braking system.

The net result according to the company is a machine comparable to a diesel without the emissions. More details on the new models will be issued once the show opens.
The company will also show the new nine metre/3,200kg mid-range FS 9.32 Compact alongside the existing seven metre/3,200kg FS 7.32 Compact.
