Heli to distribute SPT spider cranes

Uplifter, the German spider crane and glass handling specialist has appointed crane and access sales and rental company Heli as its distributor for Belgium.
Uplifter took on the master distribution for Chinese built SPT spider crane range earlier this year, after several years of selling Maeda spider cranes. See: New spider crane entrant

Heli has worked in the spider crane market since 2014 when it began working with Kranlyft and Maeda. It has been working with Uplifter for some time now, but the two companies have reached an agreement to cooperate more closely, with Heli offering the complete Uplifter range which includes SPT spider cranes and specialist lifting equipment.

Uplifter's managing director Martin Lobinger said: "With Heli we have a very experienced dealer on our side, who will push the lifting technology on the Belgian market together with us. The future will be promising."

Established in 1983, Heli has a focus on spider and mini crawler cranes, along with a full line of aerial work platforms, scaffold towers and loader cranes. It represents Niftylift, Snorkel, Ruthmann Bluelift, Ommelift and Isoli.
