New MD for Gloobal

Spanish vehicle mounted aerial lift rental company Gloobal has appointed Iñigo Mendoza as managing director.

In his new role he will be responsible for all of the day to day management of the business which now runs a fleet of, more than 500 units – mostly 3.5 tonne truck and van mounted lifts from four locations across Spain. The company was founded and is owned by Liftisa founder Ivan Papell who will become chairman. The company acquired Alve in 2019. becomes chairman, while also managing the group.

Inigo Mendoza


Mendoza joins Gloobal following seven years with Spindle manufacturer MYL. He began his career in 2002 as operations manager with access rental company DK Rental, which also owned Liftisa at the time. He remained with the business after it was acquired by Lavendon in 2007 and becoming managing director before leaving in 2012 for a similar role at agricultural cooperative Ehnelur. In 2015 he left to become general manager of MYL and its Italian subsidiary SMZ.

Papell started Gloobal as a specialist truck mounted work platform rental business in 2015, but the company now also offers some truck mounted loader cranes.
