Slip sliding away

A boom lift working at the side of a highway near Poole, England started slipping down an embankment towards the busy dual carriageway yesterday causing police to shut the road in both directions.

This machine frightened the Police into closing the road.

The incident happened at Tower Park, the police closed the road in both directions between Canford Heath Road and Ringwood Road causing chaos to local traffic.

For those of you interested, the lift was a Genie straight boom, possibly an S-40, belonging to Nationwide Access.
