New Tadano director for Manitex

Manitex has appointed Takashi Kiso of Tadano to its board of directors.

Kiso is a senior administrator at Tadano and has looked after the loader cranes and aerial work platform business. Prior to joining Tadano he was chairman of Marubeni Automotive Aftermarket Holdings in Houston, Texas. He replaces Ingo Schiller, who formally leaves Tadano today, he has served as the Tadano representative on the Manitex international board since 2018.

Manitex Internaritonal chief executive Michael Coffey said: “We are excited to welcome Mr. Kiso to the Manitex board of directors and are grateful for Tadano’s continued support of our company. Mr. Kiso brings deep industry experience in our core markets and significant expertise in global marketing, distribution and aftermarket support, making him an ideal addition to Manitex board. Tadano acquired a 14.6 percent stake in Manitex in 2018 and has the right to designate one member to the company’s board.
