Another acquisition for REIC

Rental Equipment Investment Corp. has acquired Black Mountain Rentals, a two location general rental company in Pinewood, Wyoming.

REIC was acquired by Kinderhook Industries last January. Since then the company has added 18 more locations including the two acquired this week and now operates from 50 locations, all of which trade under the acquired company brand names.

Black Mountain Rentals is based in Pinedale, Wyoming with a branch in Alpine, Wyoming. Its product range includes arborists and grounds keeping equipment, along with earthmoving machinery. No details of the transaction have been disclosed. The new locations add to one existing operation in the state - Hillside Rentals - in Wheatland on the other side of the state.
REIC operates through brands that it has acquired

Black Mountain is owned by Jim and Justin Sandner who said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with REIC. Both companies have very similar corporate cultures and through this new partnership, BMR, its customers and employees will all benefit greatly.”

Kevin Fitzgerald of REIC added: “BMR is an excellent, well run company with a strong rental business that plugs into our existing geographic footprint for our General Rental Division. “The addition of these two BMR locations in Wyoming further enhances our presence in the Wyoming/Idaho area and will enable us to better serve our customers with additional equipment and service.”

REIC was established in late 2014 by Kevin Fitzgerald of KCE Capital, who also served as chief executive of Neff Rentals between 1995 and 2000.
