New South German location for Sahalift

German aerial lift distributor Sahalift has opened its purpose built premises of its new branch for southern Germany. Located in Giengen an der Brenz - between Stuttgart and Munich - the company broke ground on the new building just over a year ago. The company distributes Ommelift spider and trailer lifts, Airo booms and scissor lifts, Almac/AlmaCrawler tracked booms, scissors and material transporters, Aichi booms and scissors and Multitel truck mounted lifts.

The artist impression of the new premises

The brand new 5,000 square metre facility includes a fully equipped workshop with six repair and assembly bays, a dedicated wash down area, warehousing and an office complex with a training room as well as a large yard, for testing and demonstration purposes as well as outdoor storage.
The new location is close to the A7 motorway and junction with A8 and A6 motorways. The new branch will be managed by Thomas Schmid and is intended to work as a hub for southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Sahalift was formed in 2020 as a result of a Management Buy Out of Ommelift Deutschland by Yama Saha, he changed the company name to Sahalift shortly after taking over.
