Ommelift Deutschland MBO
Yama Saha, the managing director of Ommelift Deutschland since the start of 2015, has acquired the company from Ommelift and changed the name to Sahalift.
The name change reflects the fact that the business has been steadily adding to the products it sells, alongside those built by Ommelift. These include Airo boom and scissor lifts, Isoli truck mounted lifts, Almac tracked scissor lifts and booms and, more recently, Aichi boom lifts. The ownership change was actually set up earlier this year, but the name change becomes effective this week.
Yama Saha, 40, said: "In the past few years the market share of the respective manufacturers we represent has increased. And to do justice to manufacturers and customers alike, it was a logical and consistent step for everyone. I and our entire team are aware of the responsibility we have towards our partners, and we look forward to many more inspiring years of close cooperation.”

Ommelift owner Harry Lorentsen added: "It gives us a lot of pleasure to see a new generation taking over the responsibility so that our philosophy can be passed on a little bit. With Yama Saha, we have met a partner whom we have gladly accepted into our family. His ambition to do something better for the customer has always been our daily incentive and has created a trusting friendship over the years. So I can retire with peace of mind.”
