UK's first 265ft boom lift

Zoomlion Access has delivered the first 265ft ZT82J boom lift to arrive in the UK to rental company Hire Safe Solutions.

Unveiled towards the end of last year It features a six section main boom, with two telescopic cylinders, one to extend the second section, while the other cylinder telescopes the third section, along with the top three sections. The boom is topped by a 13.1 metre, three section articulating jib for working heights of up to 82.3 metres. Maximum outreach is 35.9 metres with 250kg or 30 metres with 300kg and 25 metres with the maximum 450kg. Total weight of the machine is 48.8 tonnes.

This is the second record breaker in as many months for Hire Safe, last month it took delivery of the first 232ft Zoomlion ZT72J
With a working height of 82.3m and a maximum platform capacity of 454 kg, Zoomlion ZT82J Is as the largest self-propelled boom lift on the market, and is aimed at major construction projects, along with the petrochemical, and renewable energy markets.

Hire Safe Solutions was established in 2013 by Gerard & Rebecca Jennings, they now run a fleet of well over 2,000 units, with a strong focus on larger boom and scissor lifts. The Zoomlion deliveries are part of a 114 unit, €20 million investment new Zoomlion platforms for delivery this year.
