New CEO for TVH

Belgian international replacement parts specialist TVH has appointed Giuliano Parodi as its new chief executive, starting in September.

The role of chief executive is currently being covered by chairman Patrick Lecluyse, who stepped in on an interim basis when Dominiek Valcke left the business last summer after eight years in the role. Lecluyse will hand over to Parodi towards the end of the year, following a suitable transition period.
Giuliano Parodi joins the company after nine years with engine and equipment manufacturer Yanmar, where he has been group chief strategy officer and a director for the past two years, having joined the company in 2017 as managing director of its compact equipment division in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

He began his career in 1999 with management consultancy group Askania, leaving for Fiat Chrysler the following year, starting as a trainee before moving to its CNH equipment division in 2001 as a pricing manager. A transfer to Iveco followed in 2003 as a change agent manager. At the start of 2004, he moved to a more exciting job at Komatsu as area sales manager for Spain, Portugal and the Benelux region, leaving after 18 months for Bobcat, initially as product manager for loaders and then business director attachments. In 2008, he took on the same role for telehandlers.

Two years later, he was promoted to European region vice president of marketing services for both Doosan and Bobcat brands and was then given responsibility for after market
parts and services for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, followed by responsibility for marketing service and dealer development in the region, leaving for Yanmar in 2017.

Following the transition period, Patrick Lecluyse will move from executive chairman to chairman of the TVH group board.
