Schmidt joins Partnerlift

German rental company Schmidt has joined the Partnerlift network, the German association of independent rental companies.

The company, founded in 1969, operates from Neu-Isenburg in Hesse with additional locations in Besigheim-Ottmarsheim near Stuttgart and Ginsheim Gustavsburg near Mainz. It runs a fleet of nearly 1,000 machines across its three facilities.

Schmidt managing director, Alexander Schmidt said: "We see many positive aspects in membership. On the one hand, the exchange of experience between the partners, but also the advantages of joint purchasing and the simplification of handling in the national rental.”

Partnerlift chief executive Kai Schliephake added: "According to the current Kran&Bühne Top 20 Rental company report, Schmidt is ranked 20th among the national rental companies with an estimated 966 machines."

Partner Lift membership now numbers over 150 companies across Germany, with a combined fleet of more than 15,000 machines. The network has also expanded into Switzerland, Ireland, Poland, and now Austria.
