Roll teams up with Cranes R Us

Dutch international heavy lift and transportation company Roll Group has agreed a long term partnership with Nigerian heavy transportation and lifting company Cranes R Us.

Founded around 25 years ago, Cranes R Us Nigeria provides heavy transportation and lifting services with a fleet of cranes ranging from 20 to 500 tonnes, plus six prime movers and 28 axle lines of hydraulic modular trailers.

Chief executive Sunil Suchdev said: “Nigeria is developing rapidly in many segments. As a leading local operator, it is great for us to team up with an international company like Roll, who have a large asset base including a fleet of ships highly suitable for Nigeria. This partnership enables us to offer more services and even better value to our clients, who can rely on our constant presence and experience in Nigeria and Roll’s equipment and expertise, high quality engineering and a good understanding of working in Africa.”

Roll owns and operates semi-submersible Ro-Ro cargo ships, flat deck carriers as well as a large amount of land equipment such as SPMT’s, jacking/skidding and gantry systems up to 3,000 tonnes with up to 100 metres lift height) and crawler cranes.
