Italian rental and road side recovery company Fratelli Zallocco has taken three Multitel articulated boom truck mounted aerial work platforms.
The family owned company has purchased two 21 metre MX210 and a 25 metre MZ 250 all three on 3.5 tonne Iveco Daily chassis. They will form the basis for a new platform rental fleet to run alongside its cranes.
The MZ 250 utilises a two section telescopic riser topped by a three section boom and articulating jib. It has a maximum working height of 25.1 metres, an outreach of 14.35 metres with 80kg in the platform, while the maximum platform capacity of 250kg is available at up 10.35 metres - both at an up & over height of 7.5 metres. All platform movements are managed by Multitel’s MUSA system which automatically calculates the working envelope based on load in the basket, superstructure slew position, and outrigger set up.
The two MX210 utilise a three section telescopic riser and three section boom with an end mounted platform. Maximum working height is 21.2 metres, while the maximum outreach is 9.8 metres with an unrestricted platform capacity of 200kg. Both units are equipped with Multitel’s telematics suite, with remote diagnostics etc..
