The move follows a similar acquisition last of M&J Hire Centres/M&J Engineers.

Charles Wilson chief executive David Gallagher said: “We’re delighted to add MTS Plant Hire to the Charles Wilson family. With a great fleet of machinery and a fantastic team, this deal really strengthens our position as one of the UK’s leading plant hire companies.”
MTS issued a statement that added: “We are pleased to announce that as part of a strategic restructure of our business, Charles Wilson Engineers has acquired MTS Plant Hire. We know that this decision to join the Charles Wilson family will mark a new and exciting chapter for the MTS Plant Hire division. Our committed plant hire team will also transfer to Charles Wilson and will continue to deliver the same great service that our customers have come to know and expect. MTS Group will continue to represent Yanmar and the sale of its new construction equipment. We will be working hard behind the scenes with the team from Charles Wilson to manage this transition.”
