A new business - South East Lifting Services - has been established in the UK this week.
The business has been set up by crane rental veteran Graham Clark, until today the operations director at Cadman Cranes. The move will be a major change, as he has spent his entire career with the Colchester, Essex based rental company having joined as a young operator in early 1989.

He will also be relocating to East Sussex, where South East Lifting Services will be based. It will offer a wide range of crane and lift related services including Appointed Person, lift supervisor, slinger/signaller and crane operators for both mobiles and spider cranes. He plans to cover an area that includes Kent, East and West Sussex, South Essex, Hampshire and South East London.
On his last day at Cadmans he said: “Friday is my last day as an employee of Cadman Cranes. After 34 years with the company, I feel it’s time to move on and start a new venture. I would like to thank Geoff Cadman who started me as an operator back in 1989 and gave me the opportunities to progress through the ranks to director, teaching me all I know about the crane hire industry. Thank you to all the operators, Supervisors and slingers at Cadman Cranes that I have worked with, and they will all be missed greatly. I am looking forward to the next phase of my career and the challenges it may bring.”
