Faresin celebrates 50 years

Italian telehandler manufacturer Faresin celebrated its 50th anniversary last Friday at its plant in Breganze, Vicenza.

The evening event, ‘Celebriamo il Futuro’, was attended by over 400 guests followed by a day of celebrations for employees and their families with tours of the company’s facilities.

President Sante Faresin said: "It seems almost impossible for me that the company is turning 50 this year because I always have the feeling that I am still on the starting blocks. I still have dreams to realise and goals to achieve.”

A number of presentations were given during the evening event, including that of Gabriele Chiodini, from the university of Perugia who emphasised the demand for sustainable and smart equipment through renewable resources. As well as Paul Howard who analysed the construction market and highlighted that 83 percent of the global demand for telehandlers still comes Europe and North America.

Vice president, Silivia Faresin added: "Listening to customers and then being able to interpret their needs and turn them into solutions has been at the heart of our business model from the very beginning. Ideally, we want to achieve the involvement of the customer in the design of technological solutions, thus making them a shared objective.”
