Terex Rough Terrain Cranes has appointed RAE Heavy Equipment as its authorised distributor for the Philippines.
RAE was established in 2019 and is based in Antipolo City, in Rizal province, on the east side of Manila. It offers service, repairs and spare parts for a wide range of manufacturers all over the country as well as buying and selling equipment.
The appointment was confirmed at RAE Equipment’s offices between Ajit Nair of Terex and RAE chief executive Roland Elmido. The company has already sold and delivered its first new Terex Rough Terrain, an 80 tonne RT1080L.

Ajit Nair, who heads Terex RT crane sales in the Middle East and Asia said: “We are keen to expand our presence in Southeast Asia markets by working with RAE, an active and specialised distributor in the cranes industry with a deep understanding of customer needs in their territory. Notably, the company has been a reliable source for Terex spare parts/service for some time and has recently sold a Terex crane to an esteemed client. Through our collaboration, we can strengthen our offering and provide local support to our customers when they need it.”
