New flagship for Ullrich Krane

German rental company Ullrich Krane has taken delivery of a 250 tonne Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 All Terrain crane.

The five axle LTM 1250-5.1 features a six section 60 metre main boom, plus a 12.2 to 22 metre 36 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with up to 45 degrees of offset. A wide range of extension options are available, topped by 50 metres of lattice, all of which can be offset by up to 45 degrees. The maximum tip height is 113 metres.
The new flagship is handed over

Ullrich Krane’s managing partner Holger Ludewig said: “We have had very good experiences with our previous 250 tonne Liebherr crane in the past. The LTM 1250-5.1 is the latest crane version in this class and fits perfectly into our fleet. Our cranes are used in the greater Saxony area, primarily in the construction and assembly of precast concrete parts as well as in bridge construction and in the energy sector. The LTM 1250-5.1 is the largest crane we operate in our fleet.”

This is the company’s 28th Liebherr in 29 years and went straight to work on the installation of a boiler and components at a biomass power plant in Annaberg-Buchholz in Eastern Germany.

Based in Chemnitz, Ulrich Krane was established in 1994 and also offers heavy transport, rigging and installation services as well as crane rental. It currently runs a fleet of mobile cranes with capacities ranging from 30 and 250 tonnes, along with large loader cranes and a BG CWE525 spider crane.
