Brazilian rental company Sistermi Locação de Máquinas e Equipamentos has taken delivery of a 250 tonne Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 All Terrain crane.
The five axle LTM 1250-5.1 features a six section, 60 metre main boom plus a 12.2 to 22 metre 36 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with up to 45 degrees of offset. A wide range of extension options are available, topped by 50 metres of lattice, all of which can be offset by up to 45 degrees. The maximum tip height is 113 metres.

The new crane also includes Liebherr’s VarioBallast system, along with ECOmode and ECOdrive systems to help reduce fuel consumption.

Sistermi director Juliano Martins said: “We have chosen the 250 tonne model intending to increase the capacity and lifting height of our equipment in this crane class, in order to meet the needs of our customers.”
Based in Serra, Espírito Santo, on the east coast of Brazil, Sistermi was founded in 1979 and focuses on industrial maintenance and cargo handling. The company runs a fleet of 380 machines with capacities up to 550 tonnes and employs 560 across branches in Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, and the southern region of Bahia.
