New head of Tadano UK confirmed

Tadano has finally confirmed the appointment of Lloyd Gee-Nyland as business leader for the UK and Ireland. The appointment became official earlier this week. Tadano UK is based in Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire, following its merger with Demag UK at the end of 2020.

Gee-Nyland joins the company from tower crane sales and rental company Skyline Arcomet where he has been managing director for the past two and half years. He began his construction related career as an account manager for major projects with Tarmac. After five years in the role, he left to set up the Compact Crane Company. At the end of 2015 he left the business for Baldwins Crane Hire as business development manager, making the move to Skyline three years later, initially as sales manager, then general manager in 2020 and managing director the following year.

Takeshi Motoyama, executive vice president of European sales said: "We are delighted to welcome Lloyd Gee-Nyland to the Tadano family. His proven track record of success and strategic vision will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of Tadano in the UK and Ireland."

Gee-Nyland comes from a crane family, his brothers Sean and William work with Delden crawler cranes, where Sean is managing director and owner.
