US based Maxim Crane Works has opened a new branch in Urbancrest, Ohio, just south of Columbus.
The branch includes 250 square metres of office space and six equipment service bays on a 10 acre plot of land. The branch will employ up to 50 new staff and will offer operated and non operated crane rentals for Rough Terrains, All Terrains and crawler cranes.
This is Maxim’s second location in Ohio, joining its Dayton branch. The company headquarters are located on the south side of Cincinnati, across the river in Wilder, Kentucky and in total operates from 50 branches in the USA.
Midwest regional vice president Rob Schultz said: “The new branch will support the growing need for construction cranes at several high profile manufacturing projects in the region. As we continue to grow our business in central Ohio, it makes sense to increase our physical presence near Columbus. We believe we can support the growing market here and provide outstanding service to companies who are building this community.”
