Jersey based facilities maintenance and commercial cleaning company Sonnic Support Solutions has taken delivery of a 24 metre Socage 24D Speed truck mounted lift. It was purchased through UK distributor Independent Access Sales (IAS)
The 24D features a dual riser and three section telescopic boom with an end mounted platform for a 23.6 metre working height. Outreach is 12.7 metres with 80kg in the platform, with the maximum platform capacity of 250kg at up to 8.5 metres of outreach. Features include automatic outrigger levelling and monitoring, automatic engine speed adjustment and a telematics suite. It is mounted on a 3.5 tonne Iveco chassis.
The new machine handover
Established in 1996, Sonnic Support Solutions is based in St Hellier, Jersey with branches in St Peters Port Guernsey, and the City of London. The company already has truck mounted lifts in its fleet, including a much larger Multitel, which it rents out when not in use on its own projects.

Chief executive Duarte Fernandes said: “We are very impressed with the specification of this new platform, and in particular the rapid reaction and quick delivery that we obtained from IAS.”
The unit was delivered and formally handed over within two weeks of first contact.
